some French inspiration

From Wendy Vallerie's New England  home in Vermont. I found this image from gypsypurple.blogspot.com.
This photo epitomizes my love for antique design and French style. I always tell my husband, if it weren't for him I would have the chic-est, girliest home.

On my honeymoon last August to Savannah, Georgia I discovered The Paris Market on Broughton Street. It was my first encounter with large quantities of perfectly selected French accessories, and even things like boxes of old photos, art, and records. It was beautiful, and it took all of my husband's strength to walk through this store with me for an hour. It was so worth it.
I brought back some printed craft tapes, and a vintage-y letter opener-- random, but I've always wanted to open my mail with a beautiful letter opener!
Next time I'm in Savannah, I WILL be visiting the Market again and purchasing some larger pieces for our new apartment, now that we have discovered what can function with our unique, combined style.
