Adventures in Coloring! With Mommy and Bubba!

This is the first time we successfully attempted coloring! (We've done it once before, but the concept of putting writing utensil to paper wasn't there).

Besides having to force him to stay in one spot and only color on the paper, little Boy knew exactly what to do with his adorable little markers!

He wanted to crawl all over the apartment with the open markers and suck on them (obviously), so this endeavor came with much frustration on Bubba's part.

He got one good taste of green.

The end result was adorable!

We also decorated for fall with our new window markers<3

Yay, fall!

Kind-of, sort-of....Florida's version of FALL!!!

So yesterday when I walked outside that deliciously crisp scent of fall was in the air. And guess what??!! It was slightly less suffocatingly hot and humid that day! I thought it must be a fluke, but today was the same! What this means for Florida peeps: Sort-of Fall is here. Only in the sense that, semi-not-hot days will start sporadically appearing from now until almost Christmas. Yay, fall!!! You gotta take 'em when you get 'em, right?

I think I may have a fall TV addiction...

Episode 1 of "Places Better Left Undiscovered"...

Bubba boy is so tempted by every new nook and cranny of our place that he hasn't been allowed to explore, that whenever he hears the washer or dryer open he dashes towards the scene. 

He immediately jumped into my laundry basket of clean, dry towels to discover new textures.

But then decided the pretty shiny lights inside deserved a good inspection.

So, his royal cuteness loved this new exciting play area! 

Disclaimer: When I am not present there's no way for Bubba to get into this room!And above is as far as he actually got into the dryer. I do not allow him to play in the dryer by himself as a regular pastime;)

Post-bath time cuties

Like this towel-wrapping strategy? Bubba and Daddy had lots of silly fun after bath time. Looks like baby just walked out of a sauna with a couple of fat, old-guy friends talking about the economy and politics.
